Guidelines for a Smooth Return Experience

Here's our advice to ensure safety and efficiency for campervan returns.
  1. Detailed Return Instructions: Provide renters with detailed instructions on the return process, including a reminder of the agreed drop-off time, to clean the van thoroughly, where to find cleaning products and refill the tank. 
  2. Emergency Contact: Offer an emergency contact number for renters to call if they encounter any issues while returning the van.
  3. Follow-Up Inspection: Conduct a thorough inspection of the van with the renter, taking time to look inside and out. Take photos and videos if necessary and mark any issues on both Hire Agreement forms.
  4. Implement a Well-Lit Return Area: Ensure the return area is well-lit with bright lights to enhance visibility for safety, inspection and ease of parking.
We suggest that you remind all renters of their drop-off time and responsibilities approximately 12-24 hours before their drop-off time.

I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend in {{ Van }}. This is just a courtesy message to remind you of your drop-off time at ……. 
You can find cleaning equipment …… 
Please return the van in the same condition as you collected it and fully refill the fuel tank. 

Adjust the above message as necessary, including your availability if they are experiencing delays and any other pieces of information that may help with a smooth handover.
